While his son was explaining the Grim Reaper, he realised he'd seen someone matching that description. Jolly! The dad hunted down Jolly, looking for explanations for why he was haunting his child's dreams. They were both shocked to learn that it was a Jolly from an alternate timeline causing the torment.
